With great success, the 8th International Staff Training Week (Erasmus Staff Week) was completed, organized from June 30 to July 4, 2025, at the University of Thessaly. The event brought together 35 representatives from 20 Higher Education Institutions from the following countries: Bulgaria, Germany, Georgia, Greece, Spain, South Africa, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Czech Republic, and Finland.
The week featured a dynamic and multifaceted program of activities focused on:
- Enhancing visibility, networking, and collaboration among participating universities.
- Exchanging ideas and best practices, as well as systematically strengthening inter-university ties.
- Learning the Greek language through experiential activities.
- Participating in cultural events that highlighted Greek tradition and hospitality.
The program was designed to address both the professional development and training of participants and their exposure to Greek culture, presenting the University of Thessaly as an active institution of openness and internationalization.
This initiative is part of the University of Thessaly's broader efforts in international cooperation and mobility and was supported by the Erasmus+ Program.
