The Department of Language and Intercultural Studies (DLIS) of the University of Thessaly invites you to the lecture by Cristina Visiers Würth, Head of the Intercultural Education Service of the Department of Migration and Refugees of the Böblingen district (Germany), titled:
Weaving carpets, understanding snails, talking over pendulums and crossing bridges:
everyday stories from a German cultural competence service
The lecture will take place in the Saratsi Auditorium (Papastratou Seafront Complex, 3rd floor) on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.
The lecture is organized as part of the scientific activities of the Interdisciplinary and Cultural Relations Lab (DI.PO.) of the DLIS and is addressed to all students of the Department.

Cristina Visiers Würth studied Humanities in Barcelona (Universitat Pompeu Fabra), Intercultural Psychiatry in Paris (Université Sorbonne Paris Nord), and Existential Analysis in Vienna (Institut für Logotherapie und Existenzanalyse). She is also a trainer in Existential Analysis in Tübingen, Germany. Since 2003, Cristina Visiers Würth has been a certified social educator, and since 2017, she has worked as a mediator and head of the Intercultural Education Service in the Department of Migrants and Refugees of the Böblingen district in Germany, where she also leads the psycho-educational program for refugees, MindSpring.
