University Research and Innovation Center "IASON" (PΑ.K.E.K. IASON)
The University Research and Innovation Centre (PA.K.E.K IASON) was established by the Law 4589/2019 as an academic unit of the University of Thessaly and it is based in Volos.
PΑ.K.E.K. "IASON" objectives are:
conducting basic and applied research
exploiting research findings for the benefit of the Greek society
contributing to the specialization of new scientists
providing services to public and private institutions
education and practice
serving as a mediator between the public and private sector for the development of research units in businesses
promoting the Greek language and culture abroad
