Mission
The mission of the University of Thessaly is to provide high-quality education through innovative academic programs that respond to contemporary developments across scientific fields. The University seeks to promote the creation and dissemination of pioneering scientific knowledge by strengthening research and lifelong learning. Through these activities, it substantially contributes to the professional education and skills development of its students, supporting their continuous growth.

At the same time, the University of Thessaly invests in building strong partnerships with universities, research institutions, social stakeholders and production sectors, both nationally and internationally. Particular emphasis is placed on connecting with the labor market, aiming to meet the country’s developmental needs and to enhance the employability of its graduates.

This vision is based on four main pillars:
