Professor Dimitris Kallioras has been elected as a member of the Council of the Regional Science Association International (RSAI) for a three-year term. His candidacy was supported by the European Regional Science Association (ERSA).
Professor Dimitris Kallioras’ election continues the uninterrupted presence of the faculty members of the Department of Planning and Regional Development at the University of Thessaly in the governing bodies of leading scientific organizations, confirming the Department’s and the University’s leading role in shaping international scientific developments.
“This election is a great honor but also a responsibility, as it provides the opportunity to contribute even more actively to shaping the international agenda of Regional Science, while simultaneously strengthening the presence and influence of the Greek academic community in the global scientific arena,” stated Professor Dimitris Kallioras.
