Childcare Center

At the Gaeopolis campus of the Univeristy of Thessaly in Larissa there is a child care center in a privately owned building in the area of the Farm, operating daily from 8 am to 4 pm. It provides care for children aged 2.5 to 4 years old whose parents have an employment relationship with the University (regular and temporary administrative and teaching staff, students of all levels eligible for student care provisions by law). The Child Care Center seeks to provide a safe, warm and stimulating environment which will support the satisfaction of children’s innate need for play, exploration, communication and learning to the maximum degree. At the same time, the Child Care Center aims to reinforce their complete and harmonious development taking advantage of modern pedagogical approaches and organizing various internal and external activities and projects (educational, cultural, athletic, social).

Applications
Enrolment applications are submitted from 1st to 15th June and additional applications are accepted from 1st to 10th September, on condition that available places remain.
