As part of the final event of the flagship Horizon Europe project ARSINOE (Climate-resilient regions through systemic solutions and innovations), a high-level panel will be held under the title:
“Bridging Policy, Science, and Markets to Make Climate Adaptation Real”
This panel brings together leading figures from the European Commission, the scientific community, the water innovation sector, climate diplomacy, and national representation — to explore the key challenges and opportunities in scaling real-world climate adaptation.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Philippe Tulkens, Head of Unit Climate & Planetary Boundaries, DG RTD, Deputy Mission Manager for Climate Adaptation, European Commission
- Prof. Emmanuella Doussis, ELIAMEP / UNESCO Chair on Climate Diplomacy, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens
- Durk Krol, Executive Director, Water Europe
- Prof. Ralf Ludwig, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, expert in climate impacts and modelling
- (If confirmed) Ambassador Ioannis Vrailas, Permanent Representative of Greece to the EU

Mr. Dimitrios Tsiodras, a Member of the European Parliament and Member of the Committee on the Environment, Climate and Food Safety also delivers a short address.
