For the first time, the University of Thessaly participated in the prestigious European Association for International Education (EAIE) conference, held in Toulouse. Representing the university was Professor George Stamoulis, who joined over 7,000 participants from universities and educational organizations across the globe. The event offered valuable opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration in the sphere of international education.
The Greek delegation, which included twelve universities, was coordinated by Study in Greece, an organization dedicated to promoting Greek higher education worldwide.
The University of Thessaly's presence at the EAIE conference reflects its commitment to internationalization-one of the key pillars of the university’s strategic development. This participation not only strengthened existing partnerships but also paved the way for new collaborations, highlighting the evolving landscape of international academic cooperation.
Engagement in global forums like the EAIE enables the University of Thessaly to explore new opportunities for its academic and research community, fostering innovation and strengthening its outward-looking approach.
