Study Program of the Department of Informatics Engineering of T.E. of the TEI of Thessaly (Larissa)

The Department of Computer Engineering T.E. (former Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications) was established by Presidential Decree 200/1999 (Government Gazette 179 06/09/99), with the first semester of operation in the autumn of 1999, within the framework of the action 'Enlargement of Higher Education' of the Operational Program for Education and Initial Vocational Training of the 2nd Community Support Framework (2nd CSF).

Upon completion of their studies, the Graduates of the Department acquire the necessary, according to international standards, theoretical and technological knowledge and skills so that they can successfully with the highly competitive conditions of their subject:

- to pursue Postgraduate Studies at Tertiary Education Institutions of the Home or Abroad,

- to study, based on the background of their studies, the rapid development, both theoretical and technological, in their subject matter,

- and to work in all areas of the Department's subject matter, either as self-employed or as managers or executives of relevant private or public enterprises, organizations and services.
