The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the
University of Thessaly (YMMY), and specifically the Creative Technologies Learning Lab research group,
is organising on October 15, 2025 at 12.00 a webinar on biomimicry, an emerging design method for innovation inspired by natural patterns and processes.
The seminar is an action of the research project Let's Mimic: Biomimicry Design for Sustainability Skills in VET, funded by the Erasmus+ program through the Greek managing authority IKY. It is presented in the framework of Erasmus+ Days (Biomimicry innovation inspired by the wisdom of nature - ErasmusDays), a pan-European initiative for promoting Erasmus+ research projects funded by the European Commission. The audience will be familiarised with the principles of biomimicry and innovative digital learning tools and resources developed by the University of Thessaly.
