The Study Programme “Nutrition & Dietetics” of the University of Thessaly (former Department of Nutrition & Dietetics, TEI of Thessaly) has a duration of 4 years and focuses on the field of Human Nutrition and Dietetics. It has been developed according to national and international academic standards.

The graduates of the Department of Nutrition & Dietetics can be registered in the official professional body in Greece and then allowed to work as dietitians-nutritionists. They can work in the health, food and education sectors, in public or private bodies, such as hospitals, health services/units, food industry, sport clubs, in the community (schools, recreational centers for elderly, etc.), as well as freelancers. The profession of Dietitian – Nutritionist is one of the best professions with high uptake in the job market.
