The University of Thessaly proudly participates in the Hearth Summit, an international gathering at Impact Hub Athens dedicated to community well-being and environmental resilience!
This initiative, held on October 31 – November 1 under the auspices of the University of Thessaly and One Planet Thessaly as a content partner, brings together diverse changemakers—including climate activists, urbanists, and sustainability experts—to address the pressing challenges facing cities today.
Representing the University of Thessaly, Professor Chrysi Laspidou, Vice-Rector of Innovation, Internationalization, Collaborations, and Digital Governance and Head of One Planet Thessaly, will lead her research group in engaging sessions on sustainable urban living, exploring pathways to greener cities and improved quality of life. Our work is deeply committed to advancing practical strategies for urban sustainability, from enhancing air quality and reducing pollution to supporting community well-being in transformative ways.
As UTH champions sustainability in action, the Hearth Summit is an ideal platform to share our expertise and inspire others toward a sustainable future.
