Modern Challenges for the Establishment and Operation of Vegetable Clusters

Modern Challenges for the Establishment and Operation of Vegetable Clusters

Nowadays, it is believed that the increased consumption of vegetables is one of the most important challenges in the modern developed world. This challenge is directly associated to a series of new research data linking the consumption of vegetables to the protection of the health and welfare of the citizens. To fulfill the needs and preferences of consumers, it is now necessary to found and run partnerships and collaborations that share the same vision, while, at the same time, setting the objectives related directly to issues concerning the field into lower priority.
The Scientific Society of Agricultural Economics in collaboration with the Scientific Laboratory of Agricultural Economics and Consumer Behavior of the Department of Agriculture Crop Production and Rural Environment of the University of Thessaly (UTh), organize the event “Modern Challenges for the Establishment and Operation of Vegetable Clusters”, on May 30, 2018, at 6:30 pm at the School of Agricultural Sciences. The event aims to feature the new ways of dealing with the challenges in the field of production and commerce of vegetable clusters.
